Alice and the 11's is an all original all female alt pop band from Austin TX.

First, there’s Alice’s voice. It moves like a sax - malleable, seductive, soaring and growling with grace and grit. Then there are her thoughtfully crafted heart-on-sleeve hooks and lyrics framed in catchy hummable melodies. Add the alchemy of 4 women - their collective influences and inspiration creating a bedrock of layers and textures.

Voice, keys, bass, drums, guitar, and songs that won’t let you go.

The 11’s are at home in venues of all kinds – clubs, theatres, outdoor festivals, and as a support act. 11’s fans are millennials to boomers, hipsters, fellow musicians, dj’s.

Band member bios:

Jane Gillman: Lead guitar, 12- string, and harmonica. Jane , a long time Austinite, is a fierce seamstress with her instrumental solos, creating hooky riffs and memorable patterns. She's traveled down many roads as a songwriter, producer and teacher.

Alice Evans: Lead vocalist, composer, pianist, and graduate of Cornish College of the Arts from Seattle WA. Loves to teach music and yoga to the Austin community. Loves rocking out while cooking.

Rachel Allred: Bass player with scientific precision! Rachel holds a doctorate in neuroscience, tutors kids in academics, and can throw down a groovy line.

Ren Lewis: Drum goddess and band musicologist. There is not a band she hasn't heard of, seriously, ask her! A music graduate herself, she has perfect, on point timing with tasteful and fun ornamentation. You. Must. Hear. Her.
